TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

The promoter of this prize draw is BE.SCOPES LTD trading as SCOPES, registered office address Suite Ra01 195-197 Wood Street London E17 3NU (“SCOPES”, “we”, “us”).

2. Eligibility

The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.

Employees of SCOPES, members of their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter.

No purchase is necessary. Entry is free.

Entrants must have an Instagram account and comply with Instagram’s applicable terms and policies.

3. Promotion Period

The prize draw opens on  22/08/2026 at 18:00 UK time and closes on 28/08/2026 at 18:00 UK time (“Closing Date”).

Entries submitted after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

To submit a valid entry, an entrant must, during the Promotion Period:

  1. Follow @be.scopes on Instagram;
  2. Like the official SCOPES Work Bestie Giveaway post;
  3. Comment on the giveaway post tagging one work buddy; and
  4. In the same comment, answer the question: “What gets you both through a shift?”

The answer may be short, funny or personal. The content of the answer will not affect the entrant’s chances of winning, provided that a genuine response to the question has been given.

The winner will be selected at random and entries will not be judged on creativity, humour or writing ability.

5. Entries and Work Buddies

Each individual may submit a maximum of one valid entry.

An entrant may tag one work buddy in their entry.

The tagged work buddy does not need to submit their own entry for the pair to be eligible to win.

However, the tagged work buddy may also enter the prize draw themselves by following all of the entry requirements and tagging the original entrant as their work buddy.

Where both members of a work duo submit valid entries and tag each other, each valid comment will constitute a separate entry into the draw, giving the duo two entries in total.

Submitting additional comments will not create additional entries.

The tagged work buddy must also be a UK resident aged 18 or over in order to receive the prize.

6. The Prize

There will be one winning work duo.

The prize consists of:

  • one complete SCOPES scrub set for the entrant whose comment is selected as the winning entry; and
  • one complete SCOPES scrub set for the work buddy tagged in that winning entry.

Each complete set consists of one SCOPES scrub top and one pair of SCOPES scrub trousers.

Each member of the winning duo may choose their preferred style, colour and size from the products, colours, styles and sizes available in stock at the time the prize is claimed.

SCOPES does not guarantee the availability of any particular product, style, colour, size or combination.

If a winner’s preferred option is unavailable, they will be invited to select an alternative from the available stock.

The prize has no cash alternative, is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash, credit or a gift card.

SCOPES reserves the right to substitute any part of the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

7. Winner Selection

Following the Closing Date, one valid entry will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

The draw will take place within [2] days of the Closing Date.

The selection will be carried out using a verifiably random computer process or another method compliant with applicable promotional marketing rules.

The entrant whose comment is selected and the work buddy tagged in that comment will together form the winning duo.

8. Verification of the Winning Entry

Before awarding the prize, SCOPES may verify that the winning entry complies with these Terms & Conditions.

This may include confirming that:

  • the entrant is following the SCOPES Instagram account;
  • the entrant liked the giveaway post;
  • the comment contains a valid tag and response to the giveaway question;
  • both members of the winning duo meet the age and residency requirements; and
  • the entry was submitted before the Closing Date.

If the selected entry is invalid or either member of the winning duo is not eligible, SCOPES may select another valid entry at random.

9. Winner Notification

The winning entrant will be contacted by direct message only from the official @be.scopes Instagram account within 48 hours of the draw.

The winning entrant will be responsible for informing their tagged work buddy and SCOPES may contact or request confirmation from the tagged work buddy separately.

Both members of the winning duo must respond and provide the information reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange delivery of their prizes within 72 hours of being contacted.

If either member of the winning duo does not respond within this period, cannot be contacted, is ineligible or declines the prize, SCOPES reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that duo and select another valid entry at random.

SCOPES will never ask a winner to make a payment or provide bank or card details in order to claim a prize.

10. Delivery of the Prize

Each member of the winning duo must provide a valid UK delivery address.

Delivery of both prizes will be free of charge.

SCOPES will use reasonable efforts to dispatch the prizes within 30 days after both members of the winning duo have confirmed their eligibility, delivery information and chosen available products.

11. Personal Information

Personal information provided in connection with the prize draw will be used only as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact the winners and deliver the prizes, unless an entrant has separately consented to another use.

Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and the SCOPES Privacy Policy.

12. Winner Information

SCOPES may be required to make information available demonstrating that a valid prize award has taken place in accordance with applicable promotional marketing rules.

A winner may object to their information being made available or request that the amount of information made available is reduced.

This will not prevent SCOPES from providing relevant information to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent regulatory authority where required.

13. Instagram / Meta Disclaimer

This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta.

By entering, participants acknowledge that Instagram and Meta have no responsibility for the administration of the prize draw or fulfilment of the prize.

Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the prize draw should be directed to SCOPES and not to Instagram or Meta.

14. Disqualification

SCOPES reserves the right to disqualify entries where it has reasonable grounds to believe that an entrant has:

  • breached these Terms & Conditions;
  • submitted false information;
  • used fake, automated or duplicate accounts;
  • attempted to manipulate the entry or winner-selection process; or
  • otherwise acted fraudulently or unfairly.

15. Changes or Cancellation

SCOPES reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.

SCOPES will not make changes that unfairly disadvantage participants who have already entered, except where necessary to comply with law or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the extent permitted by law, SCOPES will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not successfully submitted because of technical failures, platform outages or other circumstances outside SCOPES’ reasonable control.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and the prize draw are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.

Entrants retain any rights they have to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to them under applicable consumer law.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By entering the SCOPES Work Bestie Giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
